| A fast growing base in the north of Argentina with a strong training and mercy focus in the local area. The place has no amazing features about it, but the people are fantastic. A great atmosphere filled with lots of work and fun. Fantastic.

| YWAM’s work here in the Patagonia began in 1997 when God called Jorge & Isabel Rios out of the base in Buenos Aires to pioneer a new work in “the south”. With their young family they moved to the city of Bahia Blanca, where they led the first ’southern’ DTS in 1999. In 2000 they moved further still from the Capital, to a town called Pringles, but still they felt the call of God to press still further south. In January 2002 they arrived in Puerto Madryn, in the province of Chubut. It was here that the new base was to be built.
