How will this Benefit My Base?
Every year thousands of young (and not so young) people are looking for a place to do a training school or a YWAM Base to join as staff. The Internet is a primary focus for their search. Having a Base Page on YWAM Bases will ensure that they always have the latest information about your base on hand.
But we already have a Base Web Site
Great! This site is not designed to replace your existing site. You will notice that every base page includes a link to take people to your existing Base Web Site. Our primary role is to get visitors interested enough in your Base to take the next step and visit your Web Site themselves. Remember also that many of you will not have the means to keep your existing Base Web Site up to date with all your latest news and information.
What do I get when I sign up?
You will receive a Login and Password and be designated a Base Administrator. From there you can login to the Web Based Control Panel and start entering your base data immediatly. As a Base Administrator you can also create other user accounts and give them specific permissions to have access to certain content in the Control Panel.
What sort of Help is available if I get stuck?
When you login to your control Panel you'll see in the top right a downloadable User Manual. That will cover all the issues to do with entering / modifying / and deleting content. You can also email us here if you get stuck (but please read the user manual first :-)
What if I want to include this dynamic content in my existing Web Site?
No problems. First sign on and start using the system. Then when you're comfortable with it contact one of the Certified Developers who will be able to assist you in incorporating your YWAM Bases Data in your Web Site. You can also visit our RSS page for information on using RSS to display simple information from YWAM Bases on your Base Web Page.
